An Improved Timing Synchronization Scheme for OFDM  Based Power Line Communication Systems

Abstract

Abstract:

Timing synchronization schemes for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing （OFDM）based power line communication system is discussed. Based on the traditional method, a new algorithm is proposed to attenuate the interference over multipath channel. Matlab simulation proves that the proposed approach can improve the system performance over multipath channel. It also has fewer hardware consumptions and lower complexity.
